If you’re new to selling on Amazon, the first place you should head to is the Amazon Seller University.
What is Amazon Seller University?
At the bottom of your Seller Central homepage you’ll find a ‘Tutorials and Training’ section. Here lies the Seller University! It’s packed with webinars, tutorials and policies to help you get to grips with selling on Amazon. As it’s notoriously difficult to speak with an actual human being at Amazon, the Seller University is a quick solution to moving ahead when you get stuck. There are quick-start guides, tutorials for listing products, information about promotions and vouchers, help with protecting your brand, and much more!
The most popular tutorials include:
- How to list products on Amazon?
- How selling on Amazon works
- Listing basics 1.1 – what is listing?
Are there any downsides to Seller University?
When you look through the forums, Seller University is recommended so much by other users. It’s ideal for helping with the smaller, more immediate tasks that you just need to get done. It’s also great for learning the basics of Amazon’s various policies – there are so many after all!
It can, however, be a little out of date. Amazon introduce updates to their policies and procedures all the time, but it looks like they don’t really keep Seller University updated as much. Always keep one eye on the News section so you don’t miss anything important.
It can be a little overwhelming at first glance, but a simple search will point you in the right direction. If you still can’t find what you’re looking for, this is where Brand Monkey can step in to help you. We know Amazon inside out (even if they do like to keep us on our toes). Feel free to get in touch for a little extra guidance or to help you get your Amazon business off the ground.
