It’s no secret that AI has massively progressed in recent years, particularly in the creative industry. Creating images, videos and branding content can now be done at the click of a button. Not wanting to be left behind, Amazon now offers generative AI tools in the A+ Content Manager and in the ads console for all brand-registered sellers.
What is A+ Content?
A+ content is a valuable tool available to brand-registered sellers. It appears further down your product page, below your bullet point section. It’s a visually led product description, allowing you to use images, infographics and extra video content to highlight features, your business and your brand story. With the rich content, it improves your brand awareness and builds trust with customers. Amazon data states that the Basic A+ Content can increase sales by up to 8%, whilst the Premium A+ Content can improve sales by up to 20%.
Improving on their existing A+ offerings, sellers can now use Amazon’s new AI capabilities to help create this content in minutes instead of weeks.

What are the new A+ Content AI tools?
Following on from image and video generators in Beta, A+ AI can assist with creating content. For brands of all sizes that use Basic A+, Premium A+ or A+ Brand Story Content, these new generative AI tools help you create high-quality content and streamline the creative development process without a team of copywriters and designers. These tools are available to you at no cost for select modules.
How do I use the new AI tools?
To create A+ Content with the new generative AI tool:
- Go to A+ Content Manager.
- Find modules with the AI ready badge.
- Generate AI content using your brand-owned ASIN.
- Review and publish.
To learn more, go to Create A+ content or download the A+ Content Generative AI Guide, available in English only.
Other content creating AI tools for Amazon
Amazon also has an AI image generator that sellers can use to create their Amazon Ads. The generator tool lets brands and advertisers automatically create images based on product information, themes or simple prompts. It uses the generative AI to produce new images that match your brand’s style or campaign goals.
This tool is designed for ad creatives. It helps advertisers generate lifestyle images quickly. It works by taking product details and simple instructions to produce multiple tailored images. These can be seasonal or themed variations, as well as offering aspect ratio adjustments for different ad formats.
Amazon also has another Amazon Ads AI tool that generates short video ads. These can be created from very minimal input, for example, a simple product image. It’s targeted at advertisers who want engaging video content without professional production. It helps overcome traditional video creation barriers, saving sellers time and resources.

The video tool can turn a single product image into a short dynamic video, typically only a few seconds long. They are most suitable for Sponsored Brands campaigns. It will generate multiple variations automatically, so advertisers can choose the best one for them. Enhanced versions can produce motion and multi-scene content, for example, showing the products in use, to make ads more engaging.
Both tools are part of Amazon’s push into generative AI for advertising, making it easier for sellers and brands to produce high-quality creative assets without design expertise. They integrate into the Amazon Ads ecosystem so creative content can be used directly in campaigns.
What does the future hold for AI?
What we’d like to add, is these new AI tools are not a replacement for the brilliant content that graphic designers can create. We have two fantastic designers ourselves! AI content is often not quite as good or polished as having a professional artist to hand. It is constantly being improved upon, but if you have the budget, you can’t beat the quality and care of an experienced graphic designer.
AI, however, is good for speed and for brands on a budget. The overall goal is to reduce design time and cost while enabling more creative testing and personalisation in ads and content. The Amazon AI tools aim to be no-cost or low-cost for advertisers using Amazon’s ad platforms. They’re clearly trying to encourage more sellers to use Amazon Advertising, and we thinks it’s likely the generative AI will be most popular there.
Amazon are always trying to stay at the forefront of AI, recently introducing a number of other upgrades aimed to help sellers get the best out of their business.
